Jaime Salazar is a Chilean-American Production Designer, Art Director, Set Designer and Architect.

Born in Santiago, Chile into a family of Architects and Engineers, influencing his life in Design from a very young age.

Graduated in Architecture and Design with honors, later he received his third degree in Acting.

He studied human behavior and character development to understand how emotions and social interaction have direct influence in the environment a person or character lives in.

He began his career as an Architect specializing in residential and interior design, developing multiple projects in Chile until March 2012 when he decided to move permanently to the U.S to pursue a career in the film industry.

Currently he specialize in new technologies in the Art Department and uses his expertise in Virtual Set Visualization, 3D Modeling, Game Engine driven design and 3D/2D Printing Machines to design, managed and develop the constructions of large complex sets for Film and Television.

Jaime is a dual card holder for Art Direction and Set Design of the Art Directors Guild (Local 800). He currently resides in Los Angeles, CA and has experience working in the U.S and Internationally.

Soon in theaters you will be able to see Jaime’s work in the Feature Film “Honey Don’t” Starring Margarett Qualley & Chris Evans. The second Film in the trilogy as a solo director of Ethan Cohen after collaborating in many films with his brother Joel who together won an Academy Award for the movie “No country for old men”
